Fisheries Research in Western Lake Erie

Jeff Miner, PhD and Chair of Biological Sciences at Bowling Green State University, will discuss his research on fishes in Lake Erie. He and his students have studied the effects of invasive round gobies, stocked steelhead trout, larval walleye in the Maumee River, northern pike in our coastal wetlands, and the recent invasion by grass carp. He will also identify new tools scientists use to track and monitor fish populations.
