SUNDAY 10/19/25 8:30-10:30am (Saturday) Looking for Sparrows at SCW

Sandhill Cranes Wetlands has become a great location for a variety of
birds, including the little brown ones. Late September and early
October feature a good variety of sparrows, some residents, some newly
arrived from the north. We will search for 8-10 species of sparrows,
perhaps finding one of the rarer species like LeConte’s or Nelson’s.
Prepare for some wet feet (from dew or standing water)! Meet leader
Tom Kemp at the parking lot located on the north side of Angola Road
8:30 AM.
