This new 59-acre Toledo city park highlights terrestrial and aquatic wildlife habitat restoration of former dredging disposal facility, Penn 7. Grant funding was secured through a National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Great Lakes Habitat Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Partnership grant due to its designation as a Maumee River area of concern (AOC).
