11/1/25 4-6pm (Saturday) Sandhill Cranes at Phyllis Haehnle Sanctuary
Make your way to Phyllis Haehnle Sanctuary (Seymour Rd, Pleasant Lake,
MI 49272) and join leader Todd Haggard to watch sandhill cranes fly in
for the evening to roost in the marshes – it’s truly a majestic and
thrilling experience! Sunset is at 5:30pm so you’ll want to be prompt
– low water levels may force us to a different area in search of
better viewing. Some years there are thousands of cranes and other
years only in the hundreds. The trip is dependent on weather and the
latest information on the cranes. Please check the TNA’s website,
newsletter and Facebook for updates.
