It has been easily seen the last 2 days from the south end of the pond (NE corner of the football stadium) where parking is available

All birding was done from within our vehicle.

Jeff counted 87 but there could have been more. They were crowded close together making it hard to count them. Someone else reported 50 at Howard Marsh earlier in the day. While we were at Ottawa a dozen or so flew off to the east.

Jeff found a field with Dickcissels NE of Bowling Green along Chamberlain Rd. which we re-checked July 5. There were around a dozen singing Dickcissels, and those were just the ones that were close enough to the road to be heard. It was a fallow field with tall weeds.
