									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In addition to getting great looks at a female pileated woodpecker near the bridge behind the Lodge, the girls and I also spotted a merlin perched atop one of the dead snags in Tornado Alley yesterday around 6:30pm.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There was a snowy owl on a telephone pole off of County Road AC between County Roads 15 and 16 today in Fulton County.  The bird flew into the field just south of AC, and probably would be viewed better from County Road A.</p>

Occasionally I sub in a golf league at Crosswinds in Perrysburg and had my first dickcissel of the year there a couple weeks ago.  Two days ago on my way back from the inlaws in Delta there was one singing male at CR 9 and CR D in Fulton County.  Weedy fields all around.
