									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My husband, Elliot Tramer, saw the first snake of the year today.  It appeared to be a racer but a thorough identification was impossible because the snake was being carried off by a Broad-winged Hawk right out of our backyard.  We are hoping this is the same Broad-winged Hawk that nested near our property last year.  </p>
