    Broad-winged hawks are on the move. I counted 516 over our yard in Whitehouse yesterday, almost all between 4:30 and 5:15 and all but a few streaming due west.

    Terri and I ran the Oak Openings stampede that day. We saw about a dozen BW’s rise from the tress about noon.
