A King rail and a pair of Common gallinules were at Irwin Prairie this morning, both on the west side of the road. Plenty of Soras (+/-20) and Virginia rails (+/-10) we’re calling too as was a Marsh wren and several Wilson’s snipes. The large open field along Angola Road between Raab and Schwamberger had 100+ Pectoral sandpipers and a Sandhill crane.
