    3/3/22, backyard: An ad. BWHA flew over my home. This is the earliest 1 I’ve seen. For a long time, I was skeptical of March BWHAs, until I saw 1 myself. But the 1st few March BWHAs I saw were in the last few days of the month. Then I saw 1 in mid March. Now I’ve seen 1 when Feb.’s barely over. According to bird guides, a few winter in s. FL instead of going to Central or South America. It seems likely those are the ones turning up north in early spr.
