Pearson (south): Pil. Wood.’s still here. They might be starting to be old hat. More amazing was a sing. E.W. Pew. at the sw curve of the Wood Thr. trail (a.k.a. the blue trail). This could constitute a record. But breeding birds are known to show up early in their prime habitats. And most of Pearson is quintessential pewee habitat. It was all the more unusual considering most water in the park was covered with thin ice earlier that morning.
